STATEMENT FOR OCTOSEK, 19i 7 ■ Estates to the value of £798,480 were reported and accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during the month of October, 1947. The total value of estates and funds under administration by the Public Trustee on the 31st March, 1947, was £80,833,004 ana the new business for the s:ven months ended 31st October was £4.711,289. Grants of administration made by the Court in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 141 for the montli. During the month 553 new wills appointing the Public Trustee executor were prepare:! on behalf o: testators and lodged for safe custody and 492 existing wills were revised to provide for changes desired by testators. The total number of wills now held in the Public Trust Office on behalf cf living persons is 138,084.
