ANNIVERSARY AT BAPTIST CHURCH

The Tauranga Baptist Sunday School held its Anniversary Tea recently, followed by a concert programme ancl the presentation of prizes.

During the evening opportunity was taken to make a presentation of a fountain pen to Mrs L Phillips, in recognition of her twenty years of service in the Sunday School. In replying, Mrs Phillips emphasised the great joy she had in this work. Mr C. Davidson spoke of the work done by the Superintendent and staff of the Sunday School and Bible Classes, and the work of Mr D. Laccy in preparing and presenting such a fine anniversary programme. Both Mr Silcock, the Superintendent, and Mr Lacey replied.
