Captain A. G. Hardy, New Plymouth manager for the Waterfront Industry Commission, has been appointed manager of the Northern Steamship Co. Ltd., Auckland. He will begin his new duties on January 5. H Hunter, retiring president of the Auckland Manufacturers' Association, would be the unanimous choice for president of the New Zealand Manufacturers' Federation during the coming year was made by Mr W. J. Truscott, president of the federation, at the annual meeting of the association last night.
