DARK MORNINGS
Sir,—Hundreds and maybe thousands of people in this country are fed up with the continuance of the unnecessary war measure known as Daylight Saving. Why should we early risers be penalised by extended dark mornings during midwinter?
I consider it is high time we were assured by ' the Government that action will "be taken either to restore the former pre-war measure, or to revise the scheme to give the public the benefit of one full hour six months of the year, or half an hour
extension for nine hionihs'oniyj I am. etc., . "LIGHTEN OUR DASSSJ
