DEATH OF YOUNG CHILD

FALL FROM ROOF BURIAL AT OROPI (P'A.) s Rotorua, Sunday. A six-year-old boy residing at Ngakura had his neck broken when he fell from the roof at his home between noon and 1 o'clock on Saturday afternoon and he was dead when his mother found him. He was Frederick Bidois, eldest of'the three children of Mr and Mrs F. Bidois who are share-milking on the property of Mr C. Jesperson. The boy had been scolded earlier for climbing on to the roof, and it is thought that he hurried to get down when he realised that his parents would shortly be returning ;t 0 the house for the midday meal.. An inquest was opened today by Mr W. L; Richards, the district coroner, and .after evidence had beer given.by the parents 1 and a doctor' was adjourned. The child is to he .buried at Oroul to-day. "
