REPATRIATION IS URGED
ARAB POLITICAL EXILES
Jerusalem, May 29
The Palestine Higher Committee sent a memorandum to the HighCommissioner, General Sir.'- A’an Cunningham, urging immediate repatriation of all Arab political exiles and the release of all Arab political internees. The Note specified that live Arabs were detained in the Seychelles, off the east coast of Africa. , The Jewish agency estimates that it requires £30,000,000 to deal with (he first year’s costs cf settling the 100,000 Jews expected from Europe when, andi if, the Anglo-American Commission’s report on Palestine is implemented. The agency intends to send its treasurer, Mr E. Kaplan, lo New York shortly to negotiate the necessary loans by American banks.
