Egypt Must Retain Sovereignty

King Parouk cf Egypt in a Cairo message lias summed up the two-day conference of the rulers of Aral) states.
The statement says it was agreed that the question of Palestine was not one only for Palestine Arabs hut for all Arabs.
The hope was expressed that Britain and the United States would not do anything to Palestine which would compel the Arab world to retaliate.
After emphasising Arab unity the statement referred to the question of Italian colonies in Northern Africa and said it was agreed that the independence of Tripolitania and Cyrenaica is natural and 'just.
It was also agreed that Egypt must retain complete sovereignly.
