DEATH OF DR. INGRAM
FORMER BISHOP OF LONDON MADE WORLD TOUR IN 1927 London. May 26. A former Bishop of London, Dr. Wimmington Ingram, died to-day at tire age of 88. He was bishop of London for nearly 40 years and was one Of the most vigorous and wellknown _ leaders of the Church of England. Ho preached in many of the churches of the Empire on a world tour in 1 027. In a tribute the present Bishop of London said that Dr. Wimmington Ingram’s outstanding characteristic was his unbounded vitality. Tills was shown in the zeal with which he supported every move for the betterment cf the people, in the energy with which he ran his vast diocese and in his capacity for games.
