SURPRISE IN INDIA
CABINET MISSION’S STATEMENT
GENERAL SATISFACTION GIVEN
London, May 26
In a message from Now Delhi a correspondent says last night’s statement by the British Cabinet mission and the Viceroy has surprised Indian political circles. On the other hand, the correspondent says, the statement has given satisfaction in mutual circles which are pleased that the mission is dearly in no mood to spend more time on negotiation.
