Included in the passengers who arrived in Wellington by the Athlone Castle yesterday was Mrs S. A. Livingstone, wife of Flight Lieutenant D. F. Livingstone, of Tauranga. Mr T. F. A. Peterson, F.C.S., F.1.1.A., has been admitted to the professional register of the Society of Commercial Accountants, as a Commercial Accountants, as a fellow. The opportunity will be taken by poultry farmers to-day, at the Field Day at Miss M. W. Stewart's farm, to make a presentation to Mr E. C. Jarret, Poultry Instructor for the Auckland province, who is to retire this month. Mr Jarret started his career as a cadet at Ruakura State farm 40 years ago and has been of groat assistance to poultry producers ill this district for many years.
