Advice has been received by cable that Pte. Derek Simmons, son of Mr and Mrs S. Simmons, of Otumoetai, was at an assembly camp at Padova, northern Italy on February IS.
Lieutenant Guy Willoughby of the Fleet Air Arm was among those who last week returned to New Zealand on furlough. He is at present visiting his parents, Mr and Mrs E. N. Willoughby, of Hamilton Street, Tauranga.
