Post-war demand No. 1 is a new automobile, it was shown in a survey of 25,000 persons by Northwestern National Life Insurance Co., one of the large concerns in the United States. Second intention is the construction of a new home, not the purchase of a pre-war one. clearly indicating the faith of the public in new methods, materials and gadgets. Third item is a new radio receiver , probably because knowledge of wartime developments that virtually obsolete older types. Fourth desire is to take a long vacation trip, either at home or abroad. Twenty-five thousand persons is not a large sample, but is believed shows an accurate trend. Rationed sales of the first few million cars, and then 5,000,000 a year
