PUPILS FOR AGRICULTURAL

COURSE

SCHEME OF LAND SETTLEMENT

The Agricultural Instructor at the Tauranga District High School (Mr H. C. Read) stated in his report to the biennial meeting of householders that he was pleased to report that the number of pupils taking the course had increased very considerably.

A pleasing feature was the increased number of country children on the roll, a number that was nevertheless somewhat limited by the poor facilities offering in school bus transport.

The finances of the course were in a very healthy position and the practical side of the course covered a wide range of activities. With the co-operation of Mr R.
