CONTINUE STRUGGLE
RUMANIA’S DETERMINATION
London, Dec. 20
“Rumania’s security and her sense of gratitude to Germany demand that she continue the struggle,” said the Minister of Defence for Rumania, General Pantazi. in a speech in Bucharest, replying to the recent warning given by the United States Secretary of State, Mr Cordell Hull, that Germany’s satellites must share the consequences of the defeat of the Axis.
Pantazi said that rumours that the Rumanian Army would soon be demobilised were unfounded. He concluded: “The army will fight to the end and will not be absent from the decisive battle.”
