London, Dee. 21. British and American heavy bomb
ers made a long-range attack on Siam last Sunday night. They went for Bangkok, the capital, the Americans bombing the docks and ’ the R.A.F. dealing with the arsenal. It is the first long-distance raid to be made in this area since the formation of the Eastern Air Command.
A communique from New Delhi says the Japanese dropped a few bombs in the Chittagong area near the Burma frontier yesterday morning. The damage and casualties were very slight.
