RIOTING REPORTED
SOLDIERS IX FIXLAXB New York, Dec. 19. Rioting occurred in Helsinki, capital of Finland, early this week, which was started by Finnish soldiers on leave who did not wish to return to the front, says the Stockholm correspondent of the New York Times quoting private reports. Bands of shouting soldiers paraded the streets, accosting pedestrians, smashing shop windows and clashing with city and military police. Revolvers and knives were used and several persons were injured.
