RED ARMY SUPERIORITY Sydney, Jan. 20. Apart from the revelation of Soviet reserves and striking strength, the amazing feature of the fighting in Russia in the past two months has been the complete Russian superiority in strategy and tactics, says the military correspondent of the Sydney Morning Herald. Strategically, the Russians, by a policy of local "punches," have immobilised German reserves and have prevented any large-scale counter-attacks; while tactically they .have vastly improved upon Nazi panzer methods.
