FINE CO-OPERATION

ALLIED NAVIES

Confidence In Victory

Famous Admirals Speak

London, Nov. 19

Two famous Admirals have expressed their confidence in an Allied victory. They were speaking at a gathering in London. The First Sea Lord, Admiral of .the Fleet, Sir Dudley Pound, spoke of the remarkable co-operation and spirit of comradeship which existed between the Allied navies. This would, he said, contribute materially to the victory which we were going to win.

Admiral Stark, Commander of U.S. Naval Forces in European waters, congratulated the Allied navies on the victory gained in the Solomons. He added, "We are all in the same boat. We go up or down together and we don't propose to go down."
