RIGHTS IN CHINA
HOXGKOXG XOT AFFECTED Rugby, Oct. 14. The contemplated renunciation of British extraterritorial rights in China does not include transference of Hongkong back to the Chinese nation, said the Foreign Undersecretary, Mr R. K. Law, replying to a House of Commons question. The proposed agreements relate only to the surrender of extraterritorial rights in Chinese territory.
