OIL FOR RED AIR FORCE
The “Stalin” Oil Trust had increased its output of high-octane aviation petrol by 40 per cent since April. One hundred and fifty disued wells had been put back into operation by the end of 1941, many more are being made to work again this year. ’ All these have been re-equipped from internal resources of the industry. Oil workers have repeatedly risked their lives to increase production as quickly as possible. In June all oil wells recorded a new increase of output over May.
