DIPLOMATIC ENVOYS
AUSTRALIA AND RUSSIA EXCHANGE OF MINISTERS Canberra, Oct. 13. An interchange of Ministers between Australia and Russia has been announced by the Minister of External Affairs, Dr Evatt. The first Australian Minister to Russia will be Mr William Slater, Speaker of the Victorian Legislative Assembly.
Itussia has appointed as her Minister in Australia M. Andrei Petrovitch Vlasoff, of the Soviet People’s Commissariat for Foreign Affairs., Dr. Eva:t said the negotiations for exchange were, opened with M. Molotoff during his mission to London in May.
