Flower Show. The Garden Circle of the Lyceum Club is to hold a show of roses and summer flowers. This is open to exhibitors from all over the district and if given the same support as the opening show which was held recently, should be a credit to the gardeners of the Bay of Plenty. Mrs Doidge is presenting a silver cup to be held for one year by the grower of the best rose in the show and in addition to the usual prizes for first place, points prizes will be awarded in the three classes for roses, miscellaneous flowers and decorative work. The date of the show will be advertised later.
