WAR SAVINGS BONDS
AMERICAN INVESTMENTS Washington. April 20 Mr Henry Morgenthau, Secretary to the Treasury, will open a campaign on May 1 for voluntary public investment of at least 10 per cent, of income for the purchase of "War Savings Bonds. Purchasers of the bonds now total 5,000,000,000; dollars. The new campaign is expected to bring a large increase in the rate of purchase.
