CARNIVAL AT TE PUKE .SOME KEEN CONTESTS (Prom our own correspondent) A swimming carnival was held in the Te Puke War Memorial Swimming' Baths on Saturday afternoon. A fair crowd was present and keen races of a high, standard were witnessed with some close finishes. The following are the results:—Tiny tots, girls, 10yds.—P. Johnson 1. G. Lane 2, A. plows 3.
