LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
TAURIKO The Tauriko Branch of League of held, their monthly meeting last Wednesday. The meeting opened with the National Anthem, after reading the aims and objects, members’ prayer, prayer for peace, and the Lords Prayer, and a welcome was extende by the President to all members an two new members. . Letters from the Dominion P res ‘ dent and several others were rea , after which Mrs E. Doidge ga ve thought for the month. , Mrs Dent sang two solos w c were much enjoyed., . Mesdames McGready, Johns Doidge each gave an interesting port on the Auckland Confere - and a competition followed, t is ing won by Mrs Dabb. An enjoyable afternoon tea - ed by the hostesses, Mesdames 1 Doidge and Geraghty brought a py afternoon to a close.
