U.S. AND THE WAR
New York, April 3. A Washington message states that Mr Martin Dies, head of the Congress Committee which investigated unA merican activities, interviewed at Macon predicted that the United States would be at war with the Axis Powers within 90 days. He also expressed the opinion that England and the United States would win after a hard and bitter struggle. He said the war will be won by the joint invasion of Germany and Italy, via Greece and the Balkans. He added that, he believed that it was the United States’ duty to fight.
