Presenting inimitable James Cagney with all the thrills for w r hicli the popular red-headed star is famous, ■ “Great Guy” opened at the Town Hall Theatre yesterday.. Authenticity is the keynote of Paramount’s “Golden Gloves,” the new picture at the Town Hall. Picturegoers are in for a feast of thrills. The fight sequences leave nothing to be desired in this direction, and have been acclaimed by experts as being the best of their kind ever filmed. The film features three new stars Richaid Denning, Jean Cagney and Robert Paige.

“The Sea Hawk,” with Errol Flynn in the title role will have its first local showing at the Regent Theatre. The glorious saga of a Robin Hood of the seas “The Sea Hawk” has been hailed by the critics who have previewed it in Hollywood as the screen’s greatest adventure story. Leading his men to the four corners of the earth, swooping down on the gold cargoes of mighty galleons like a savage bird of prey, Flynn is superb as th© daring Sea Hawk. Featured with him are Brenda Marshall, as his Spanish Mght o’love, Claude Rains, Flora Robson, Donald Crisp, Alan Hale, William Lundigan, Henry Daniell, and Una O’Connor, with a supporting cast of thousands.
