I one grade lA, one grade two, two grade three and one grade four. • Carfieron Road Repealing The resealing of Cameron Road is now well in hand. A start was made at Eleventh Avenue this' week, and : the surface as far as Ninth Avenue has been completed. The improveI ment effected by the reselling is particularly noticeable and is much apj predated by motorists. During the resealing operations traffic is being diverted to the side of the road, and | the resultant dust caused by the trafj fie on the clay surface demonstrates in no uncertain manner the value of sealing from the <' r point of view of eliminating the dust nuisance.

Magnificent Displays The beautiful Australian red gum of which there are quite a number in Tauranga are now in full bloom and seldom has the display made by these trees been so magnificent. Tauranga is fortunate in possessing a really fine show of flowering shrubs and this year they have provided displays that have seldom been equalled for their beauty. The Jacaranda is also beginning to burst forth in all its glory in some parts of the district.

The Cycle Track The task of paving the new cycle track on Cameron Road is progressing satisfactorily and has been completed for the whole length between First and Eleventh Avenues. Cyclists generally appear to have taken notice of the warning issued recently that they must use the track and keep off the roadway.
