After the news had come to their ears that a Lincolnshire man had been boasting of his hidden store of petrol—enough to last a year—the authorities got busy and sent someone along to his house to investigate, The man frankly admitted his boast, and proceeded to display his store. It a pint bottle and he had been hoarding it up so that he could use his petrol lighter for another year at least.
