"I have seen examples of the bad behaviour of schoolchildren in trains which led to a protest in the news papers recently," she added.

"Travelling such distances is conducive to neither good health nor good education.

"Children do misbehave on trains. I have had to report instances to the headmaster, necessitating complaints by him to the parents. It can be remedied only by the provision of more schools.
