Four Eclipses. New Zealand is to be well served in eclipses this year, three out of four occurring: in 1941 being visible in the Dominon. A partal eclipse of the moon on 13 th March will be visible in al its stages, and another, occurring on Gth September, will be partially seen here in the early morning hours. The track of the annual e?lipse of the sun occurring on 27th March moves across the Pacific from east of New Zealand to Peru. At sunrise that morning the sun will rise with three-quarters of its diameter eclipsed, but the annual stage will not be seen here. The final eclipse of the year, a total one of the sun. occurring on 21st September. will be seen only in Asiatic countries.
