NOTES FOR AUGUST ' Mr. A. W. T. Hyde of Katikati kindly supplies the following figures for the weather in Katikati during August: i The total rainfall for the month of August of 9.4£ inches, was considerably above the average (7.65 inches) ’taken over the last 8 years. Rain fell on 15 days which is 2 below the average. The highest fall of 1.65 inches occurred on the 9th inst.
