MEETING OF PATRIOTIC
COMMITTEE
A meeting of the Tauriko Patriotic Committee was held in the school building last Monday evening, Mr J. D. Alach presiding. After a report of the Zoning Committee had been given, business in connection with? methods of raising funds was fully discussed. It‘was decided to hold a District Concert on/September 25 and a good ■programme was reported to be in ‘preparation. Plans were also made for the collection of bottles, scrap metal,, and other waste material of value to the war effort.
