NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION BAY OF PLENTY BRANCH ' For the purpose of farewelling Miss Bartlett, the retiring President, thirty-three members of the Bay of Plenty Branch of the Ncav Zealand Registered Nurses’ Association assembled for luncheon at the ;Whakatane Hotel on Saturday. A meeting was held in the Hotel lounge in the afternoon, where tea was later served. Mrs. Summers, on behalf of the members, presented Miss Bartlett with a bouquet of freesias and hyacinths and also a handsome handbag, wishing her many years of health and happiness in retirement. Miss Bartlett, in thaxiking the members, expressed her’ regret at severing her association with them. The Tauranga members able to be present were - Miss Bartlett, Mesdames RaAylings, BreAvster, Lumley, Jefferson, Glacken, Misses McDowell, Barnett, Thompson,%Hally and Goodall.
