SEEING THINGS
A DEER TO MORNING TEA Several residents of Tanranga in the vicinity of First Avenue and Second Avenue, and Elizabeth Street, possibly other parts of the town ns well, sat up and pinched themselves yesterday morning. They thought they were dreaming and they migiu well be excused. When yon are drinking your moining tea and yon see a deer streaking across your section and hurdling the hedge out into the street, yon may be pardoned for examining the contents of the cup. Where the animal came from nobody knows, but it spent a hectic half hour in the vicinity named, tearing up and down various sections and taking all fences and hedges in its stride. It was seen making out of town along Cameron road.. " So far as we know this is the first occasion on which such an animal has ever been seen in the town. ,
