Ragwort Eradication. The Department of Agriculture has advised the Whakatane County Council that a grant of £ 400 has been made to enable the Council to undertake further ragwort eradication. Operations must cease as soon as this additional grant was expended. The Chairman reported to the Works Committee that action was being taken to expend the grant r in badly infested areas.
