“You Can’t Take it With You.” The Mummers, who recently presented “You Can’t Take it With You” in the Civic, repeated their performance in Matamata last night, in aid of the School Dental Clinic there. A good house greeted the players, who again gave an entertaining performance. The trip over was made under very wet weather conditions, but by home time it had considerably improved. The players were entertained at supper afterwards, the host and hostess being the Headmaster of the Matamata School and his wife. Was it Correct? Although a report was circulated from Te Puke that on Monday , last there was a light covering of snow half-way down Maunganui, we have made inquiries as to the report* and are unable to find any Mount resident who saw the snow.
