NEWS IN TOWN
Transport Licensing. Advice has been received by Messrs Dawson and Son, of Rotorua, that their application, made to the No 1. Transport Licensing Authority, Mr E. J. Phelan, for two additional licenses for the Tauranga-Rotorua sevvice, has been declined. The grounds for the decision were that there were already sufficient operators to do the work. An appeal to the Transport Department has been lodged.
