PRICES AT MATAMATA The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, reports having, held the Matamata horse fair, when a good entry of draughts and a small offering of hacks and unbrokens came forward. Useful farm horses met a ready sale, realising, satisfactory prices, hut inferior sorts were not in demand. Little interest was taken in the hack and unbroken section. Three to fiveyear draught fillies made £3 0 to. £35; heavy aged di'aughts, £29.t0 £32 10s; aged farm horses £l2 10s to £ls; spring cart horses, £9 10s to £l3; medium unbroken twoyear draughts, to £ 16.
