A decision that the license fee for itinerant traders be increased from £ 5 to £25 was made at the last meeting of the. Hastings Borough Council. This move was the outcome of a suggestion by the Hastings Chamber of Commerce, suggesting that the maximum fee for itinerant traders should be charged in the future. The maximum fee provided in a recent' amendment to the Municipal Corporations Act is £ 25. Prince Gustaf Adolf, of Sweden, and Prince Emanuel,. of Lieehenstein, visited Scotland last July for eight days living in tents in the grounds of Monzie Castle, Crieff, Perthshire. They came not as princes, but as River Scouts to the World Moot, organised by Scout officials in Scotland. With them in camp were 5,000 Rover Scouts, from all parts of the world.
