INJURED Theodor Cardinal Innitzer, 62-year-old Archbishop of Vienna, wounded, in the . forehead by flying glass after Nazi mobs partly wrecked the archiepiscopal palace in the Austrian capital Rioting was said to be in retaliation for a sermon by the Cardinal in which he criticized the Nazis. Hitler Youth boys and girls repeatedly chanted: “To Dachau (concentration camp) with Innitzer.”
denied Thomas J. Mooney, serving a life sentence in San Quentin prison for alleged complicity in the San Francisco bombing of 1916. Supreme Court refused to review a California decision denying his freedom.
