FORCED OFF ROAD
A SMART CAPTURE Palmerston North, June 7 A man who is alleged to have coni verted a car to his own use ' vaS smartly apprehended on the tn aia road to Wanganui by Mr M. Chain®} > of Wanganui. When near Bulls Mr Chainey informed by his car radio of a ca stolen from Wellington. Immediately afterwards he was astonished t*> see what he believed to be the veil ear for which inquiries were heinf made. The driver took no notice o Mr Chainey’s attempt to stop him. the latter turned his car into tn other, forcing it into a ditch. B then questioned the driver and too*, him to the Bulls police station.
