Present hookings from Tauranga indicate that a fourteen car train, drawn by two engines, will be required. It was intended to include the Waihi school with the Tauranga contingent, but the numbers from this area have necessitated the Railway Department recasting its arrangements, as a special train from Waihi will run from that station. The numbers from the Bay of Plenty approximate 1000 persons. It will be appreciated by the School Committee if intending patrons would purchase their railway tickets in good time to ensure a seat. These tickets are not sold by the Railway Department.
