LONDON WELCOME
TO NEW ZEALANDERS DIFFICULTY OF ROUTE MARCH THROUGH STRAND London, April 16. Tlio Dominion High Commissioner, Mr W. J. Jordan, has invited all New Zealanders in London and neighbourhood to join him at St. Paneras Station, in the welcome accorded the Dominion’s Coronation military contingent, which headed by two bands from the London Command, will march to the Wellington Barracks. It is understood that a difficulty has developed regarding the route, but a later message states that the police now have arranged for the contingent to march down the Strand. New Zealanders are desirous that the troops should march past New Zealand House in the Strand, necessitating their progress through one of the busiest quarters, but the police feel that such a march at mid-day would cause very bad traffic congestion. The troops will go to Pirbright in the evening to join the Australians, Rhodesians and New Zealand naval contingent.,
