ANZAC DAY
SERVICE IX ST. PAUL'S CATHEDRAL London, April IG. The impressive Anzac Day ceremonial service in St. Paul’s Cathedral. with Mr W. J. Jordan and Mr S. M. Bruce reading the lessons, will be attended by General Sir lan Hamilton, General Sir Henry Chauvel (former colonel in the 9th North Auckland New Zealand Mounted Rifles), Field-Marshal Sir Cyril Deverell and the Welsh Guards Band. Heads of Coronation contingents will march to the Cenotaph, where wreaths will be laid by Field-Marshal Sir William Birdwood, on behalf of the Indian Army; Admiral of the Fleet Sir Roger Keyes, on behalf of the British Navy; General Belong, on behalf of the French Army and Navy; General Sir lan Hamilton, on behalf of ex-servicemen throughout the Empire: sir Archdale Parkhill, Federal Minister of Defence, supported by the Federal Treasurer, Mr R. G. Casey, on behalf of the Government and people of Australia: General Sir Henry Chauvel, on behalf of the Australian contingent and Forces: Mr W. J. Jordan, High Commissioner, tor the Government of New Zealand: Major Weir, on behalf of the New Zealand contingent and Forces. Following the service the contingents will march off, General Sir lan Hamilton takipg the salute.
