DECLINE IX LONDON Auckland, Feb. 20. The decline in prices for New Zealand butter on the London market continues, a drop of 2s having occurred over the last week. Choicest salted is quoted at 84s against 80s last week and 93s at this time last year. Danish has fallen by 4s to 116 s, compared with 126 s last February. The market for all butter is lifeless. The London quotation of 84s is equal to, approximately, 9.63 a lb. f.o.h. New Zealand ports, compared with the guaranteed price of 12.565 d. Cheese values also have shown a decline, white, selling at 525, a drop of Is on week, and coloured at 51s 6cl, a decrease of 6d. Australian cheese is scarce.
