HEAVY WEATHER
CYCLONE OFF SOUTH AUSTRALIAN COAST Brisbane, Feb. 20 The weather in Queensland and for miles out to sea at present is extremely had. A terrific cyclone, accompanied by .very thick weather, lias disorganised shipping. An s.O.S. call yesterday was received from the freighter Babinda, which is disabled 100 miles north of Brisbane with a broken intermediate engine shaft. The liner Orungal received the message and lias taken the Babinda in tow. The ships should reach port to-day. Two other freighters, the Turakina and the Bingcra, hastened to the scene.
No further news has been heard of the phosphate ship Shousing, which reported rudder trouble earlier in the week, but she is expected to reach port in the week-end.
