SUIT’D US FROM DISPUTK WITH JAPAN Canberra, Feb. 20 During the last six months, during the trade dispute between Australia and Japan, Australian exporters lost £ 6,000,000 compared with the previous year owing to the operation of the Japanese embargo, but Australian imports from Japan remained at almost the same level as in 1935. Australian wool exports declined from £G,404,358 to £15,345 (Australian currency). Imports from Japan in the final six months of the dispute were valued at £2,504,016, compared with £2,670,083 for the corresponding period of 1035.
