The Hon. B. C. Robbins M.L.C., arrived here from Wellington on Friday afternoon and left on his return this morning.
Guests at the Commercial Hotel include Mr and Mrs Trimmell, Mr and Mrs Kingly, Mr and Mrs Bradley, and Mr and Mrs Head, of Auckland.
Visitors at the Masonic Hotel are Mr and Mrs Haines, Mr and Mrs McIntyre, Mr and Mrs RoAVlands, Mr and Mrs Johnson, Miss Sloper, Messrs ■ Cullinan, Smith, Nordbye, Crossland, Callaghan, Gorman, GoodAvin, McDonald, McVerry and Lang.'
Mr and Mrs C. Daveney, of Kiritahi, Morrinsville, Avho have been spending a holiday at Aongatete, Avere in Tauranga to-day. They intend leaving by the Wanganella early in June on a visit to Tahiti, Where Mr Daveney Avill engage in big-game fishing.
Guests at the Star Hotel are Mr and Mrs Bishop, Mr and Mrs Streiff, Mrs Riach, Misses Hales (2), Messrs Marshall, McCoy, GalloAvay, Hoffmann, SAveeney, Robins, Smith and Henson.
We are pleased to note that Mr J. La\v is making good progress from his recent illness, and Avas in toAvn to-day.
Mr W. Thirkell, of the Farmers Trading Company, is on annual holidays and is being relieved by Mr W. Clarke.

The Nelson Provincial Scottish Society has been honoured by the famous Nelson-born scientist. Lord Rutherford, accepting the position of patron of the society.
