Mr T. Langford-Ely, a well-known Brisbane (Queensland) business man, who is 60 years old, has just passed a test for his “A” pilot’s flying license. He is believed to be the oldest pupil ;n Australia. His ambition is to do 40 hours’ solo flying, so that he may be able to carry passengers.
